Position:
General Manager, Brazil
Experience:
Bachelor's Degree. Minimum of 10 years of sales and management experience in a consumer electronics company.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated sales experience in Brazilian CE industry, with key relationships with local retailers. Written and oral proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese, and English. Strong communication and negotiating skills are a must, as well advanced leadership and management ability. Willingness to take initiative and a high sense of urgency are needed as well.
Responsiblilities:
The GM will direct the sales and profitability of Coby Brazil, working in conjunction with the Director of Latin American Sales. This will be a start-up operation, and he/she will be immediately responsible for establishing direct sales accounts in Brazil, as well as negotiating with distributors. He/she will also build the necessary infrastructure for further expansion of operations. The GM will be expected to serve as an important communicator on the status of the Brazilian and S. American markets.
