Coby Electronics Names Jodi Sally Vice President of Marketing

Lake Success, NY, January 3, 2010 - Coby Electronics Corporation, the lifestyle CE leader that has achieved impressive worldwide growth both in product sales and brand recognition since its founding in 1990, is enhancing its executive team with a new senior marketing leader. Veteran CE marketing executive Jodi Sally joins Coby as Vice President of Marketing effective today. Ms. Sally, who joins Coby following her more than ten-year tenure at Toshiba America Consumer Products, LLC, reports directly to Coby President Michael Troetti, who joined the company in June 2010.

"An accomplished sales and marketing professional, Jodi has a proven track record of success at some of the largest CE companies in the industry, and we're thrilled to welcome her to Coby," said Mr. Troetti. "Jodi has strong relationships with many key retailers and she'll provide us with an exceptional opportunity to expand our business. She'll lead Coby's marketing effort and develop strategic, long-term growth plans to further enhance our presence within the CE community."

As Vice President of Marketing, Ms. Sally will lead the charge of identifying, launching and managing product development across the company's numerous categories in concert with the first-rate team of sales and marketing professionals that have helped make Coby a formidable global player in the CE industry.

A seasoned player in the consumer electronics space, Ms. Sally joins Coby with more than 25 years of CE industry sales and marketing experience, most recently as Vice President Marketing Digital A/V at Toshiba America Consumer Products LLC, where she focused on the DVD and LCD TV combination product categories that led Toshiba to top market share positions in the industry. Prior to her more than ten years at Toshiba, Ms. Sally spent 15 years at Panasonic, ultimately holding the position of National Marketing Manager, DVD.
