Under the new arrangement, users can access the GetJar site and quickly view and download thousands of the most sought-after apps simply by clicking on the pre-installed GetJar icon, allowing them to completely customize their COBY KYROS tablet to complement their individual lifestyle. Through the GetJar store, KYROS users will now have access to Android apps spanning a wide variety of popular categories, including Education, Social & Messaging, Entertainment, Finance, Food, Games, Health, Search, Lifestyle, Maps, Music, News & Weather, Photos, Productivity, Religion, Shopping, Sports and Travel.

Coby's newest Android 2.3-operated KYROS tablets will come preloaded with the GetJar market, beginning this month with the 7" MID7012, followed by three new capacitive touch models: the 7" MID7127, the 8" MID8127 and the 10.1" MID1126. The debut units will be available in time for the holidays. GetJar also is compatible with all existing COBY KYROS models through an APK accessible on the Coby Electronics website.
