Lake Success, NY, February 7, 2012 - Coby Electronics Corporation, the leader in consumer electronics products designed to complement every lifestyle, has partnered with the Ronald McDonald House Charities® of South Florida to make the stay of families with children undergoing medical treatment a little easier. Coby will supply the charity with TV/DVD combination entertainment systems as a way to help families relax and share time together doing everyday activities.

The Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida maintains homes in Miami on land donated to the charity by Jackson Memorial Hospital, and in Fort Lauderdale in a building on land located next to Broward General Media Center that was donated Broward Health, operator of the hospital.

Coby will supply the two Ronald McDonald South Florida houses with the company's TFDVD1995 High-Definition TVs with DVD player. The wall-mountable units include a built-in digital TV tuner and integrated slot-loading DVD player. The units play digital media files from USB flash drives and SDHC memory cards and have V-chip parental control, closed-captioning and multi-language on-screen display.
