Coby Electronics Corporation introduces new TF-DVD500 Ultra Compact Portable DVD Player.
Maspeth, NY January 3, 2005. Demonstrating its leadership in design of consumer electronics products, Coby Electronics today introduced the new TF-DVD500 portable DVD player. The new portable DVD player will allow the consumer to watch movies or listen to music anywhere.
The newest addition to the portable DVD player line, the TFDVD500 features a 3.5" LCD TFT display, a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that also serves as an adjustable stand. The TF-DVD is about the size of a personal CD player and offers playback of DVDs as well as CDs, CD-R, CD-RW and is MP3 and JPEG compatible.
"Today's consumer is highly mobile," said Steve Search, Coby Electronics Corporation's National Marketing Manager. "With it's ultra compact size the TF-DVD500 is perfect for the consumer on the go who wants to watch movies and listen to music anywhere."
The TF-DVD500 accessories include: Lithium-ion 2.5 hour rechargeable battery pack (6 hours for CD's), A/V Cables, 110-240V AC adaptor with charger, DC car charger, stereo headphones, carrying case and a full function remote control.
The TF-DVD500 has received the INNOVATIONS 2005 DESIGN AND ENGINEERING SHOWCASE award at the 2005 Consumer Electronics Show.
